In my last post the video talked about the importance of making goals and deciding on exactly which direction you want to go to achieve your aims, this of course is very true but equally important in my opinion is focussing.
These days there is so much information on the internet that it is almost impossible not to get side tracked, I know I often do, I start off with good intentions to create a bit more to my current projects but somehow I get drawn in by the latest ebook or useful software that I must know more about which then has a knock on effect and before you know it you have spent a couple of hours just looking and not doing and feeling you have wasted valuable time. I am sure that most of you have been there.
The main reason for not staying focussed especially in the Internet Marketing field is that many of the newcomers think there is a magic secret to making money on line and at the back of their minds they think that one day they will find it and everything will be sorted, well unfortunately there is no magic secret for sale on the net the only secret you need to find out is what the most successful marketers are doing and do the same. You will then realise that it is not by simply reading an ebook that you will have success you have to spend time to learn new skills and implement them, which brings me back to focussing. I will of course be helping you to learn new skills to achieve your goals in the future.
I think the best way to stay focussed is to make a plan with deadlines this works best for me. If you want to get things done you must write down when you want it done for. A specific date is essential you can then plan ahead and even allow time to surf the net for new ideas providing you get your other stuff done as well. This solution might sound too simple or too easy but most people just do not do it.
